Microgreens are vegetables that are harvested when they are between 1-2 weeks old, but they aren’t just miniature versions of their mature counterparts; they’re nutrient-dense, flavor-packed superstars in their own right.
Microgreens can contain up to 40x the nutrient value of the full-grown plant. They are bursting with vitamins (A, C, and E among others), minerals, and antioxidants, including sulforaphane – a natural plant compound shown to assist in weight gain reduction and cancer prevention.

Health, wellness, and nature have always been important to me. After learning about microgreens, I knew it was the perfect combination of those passions for me to pursue for my own well-being and the well-being of others.
The fast-paced lifestyle we all live in this day and age has made it increasingly more difficult to eat real, natural foods. I believe that if we put good food into our bodies, we will feel good – and I believe everyone should have access to that.
Microgreens are a small step toward better health and so I started Green Wing with the hopes of helping us all to feel a little bit better.
Our microgreens are grown indoors to ensure a cool, controlled environment and they sprout in trays using a vertical setup. Organic soil is our growing medium of choice so that the plants obtain the maximum nutrition they can receive throughout their short growth cycle.
We follow strict sanitation rules when planting and will never use harmful chemicals or fertilizers. When harvesting our microgreens, they go straight from the grow trays to their containers so that the utmost freshness is guaranteed.
